Michael Swaim
Michael Swaim first visited Red River while looking to invest in a vacation home. However, Swaim fell in love with a cabin he found and moved to Red River full time. He has since opened a business, Swaim Upholstery.
“I love being able to walk or drive down the street and you’re waving at about half the people, or they’re waving at you. Red River is away from the traffic — we don’t even have a stop light — and I love that. Knowing that Red River will stay small is nice— we can’t spread out too much. We just have a real tight knit community, and we have fun. This is paradise for me.” In conversation with Kate Hove
