Why I live in
CIMARRON

JoAnn

JoAnn Martinez

JoAnn and her husband, Jesse, moved to Cimarron in 1977 where they raised their two sons. JoAnn has worked for Northern New Mexico Gas Co. since 1985, and for the last five, at the Angel Fire office.

“We moved here to be close to family and for the mountains. It’s beautiful, it’s quiet, it’s comfortable, there’s not a lot of commercialization or traffic and the school district is great. We love horseback riding, camping, hunting and fishing — especially at Valle Vidal.” In conversation with Cathy Lexa
